High winds, low tides cause ferry route changes

Flooding at Cherry Branch Ferry Terminal from NCDOTManns Harbor – Strong, gusty winds and low tides have forced the N.C. Department of Transportation Ferry Division to cut back on the number of runs today, March 6, for the Cherry Branch-Minnesott Beach route.

Seven runs from each side are being cancelled.

The windy conditions could cause changes in other routes.
