Woman arrested after allegedly trying to rob Norfolk bank

Norfolk, Va. – Norfolk police have arrested a woman who allegedly tried to rob the BB&T bank in the 100 block of West Ocean View  Avenue Thursday afternoon.

Police received the first call about the robbery at 1:30 pm.

The woman allegedly had a note demanding money, but did not have a weapon and did not receive any cash. She was arrested near the bank shortly after the robbery attempt.
