People all over the country are fired up over what a Virginia Beach pizza shop is offering their customers, all to show support for the second amendment.

After NewsChannel 3 first reported that All Around Pizza is giving a 15% discount to anyone who comes in with a gun or concealed weapons permit, the story took off!

"I thought this story was just going to be local. I didn't expect it to go international. I thought it was just going to stay in the area. I keep telling people, 'I didn't expect this, I don't know what to do!' said store owner, Jay Laze.

He got the idea after seeing a story on NewsChannel 3 about a frozen yogurt shop in Utah offering a similar discount.

Laze and his discount have been featured on countless radio and TV talk shows, including Conan O'brien.

Since the story first aired, Laze has been banging more pizzas than ever, and he's seen everything from AK-47's to a rifle that his own grandma brought in.

He told NewsChannel 3 that yesterday, he had 12 times as many customers as he normally gets, and he can't keep up.

"I had to turn people away because I didn't want to disappoint them by them sitting around for three hours while I got their food!"" Laze added.

And the phone has been ringing off the hook with supportive out-of-state callers who say they want to buy pizza for the next person in-line.

But Laze says all the attention is just something extra, as he's just sticking up for what he believes.

"I'm definitely not doing this for my business. I'm doing it because I believe in it. Like I said, I didn't expect for it to blow up as big as it did, but I'm pleasantly surprised," he said.
