Jefferson Ave./Middle Ground Blvd. intersection restricted to one Northbound lane as crews repair gas line
Newport News, Va. – Crews in Newport News have restricted the intersection of Jefferson Avenue and Middle Ground Boulevard to one Northbound lane until 8 a.m. Thursday as Virginia Natural Gas works to repair a gas line under the roadway.
If you are going in this direction, please use an alternate route such as Warwick Boulevard, Canon Boulevard or Interstate-64.
Virginia Natural Gas says there is no safety hazard.
