Virginia Beach, Va. - Tag, after tag, after tag. Residents in one Virginia Beach neighborhood are calling for the vandalism to stop.

Judy and Leland Lambson's side fence of their home in the Princess Ann Plaza neighborhood has been tagged three times since last summer, twice in the past few weeks.

"First I was little scared and then it turned to frustration when I found out more and more neighbors are having the problem,” Judy Lambson says.  "Either my husband's got to clean it or the city has to come out and clean it. It's just getting redundant."

"To me, it's some mischievous child running through here just playing a prank on somebody,” Leland Lambson says.

Sheila Swanson lives a few blocks over. Her fence was tagged, too. Not only was it an eye sore, but a huge chore for her husband to clean up.

"It took him probably seven hours sanding it that day,” she says.  “For those of us with pride in where we live, this doesn't help at all."

Residents believe about a dozen properties have been hit along with several utility boxes. Though it's hard to make out, they believe the tags all say the same thing, spelling out GUZE.

"I don't know,” Swanson says. “It may be a following of somebody that we're just not aware of."

Whether it’s gang related or just a prank, they don't know. The Lambsons have reported the tagging to police, but it hasn't seemed to help. They're hoping someone catches the vandal before any more damage is done.

"Parents look out for your children out here and really investigate and look at who has a lot of spray cans,” Judy Lambson says. “The colors are red, black and blue. So, somebody has got to keep an eye out."
