Anytime JJ is in danger I’m always a bit more on the edge of my seat. Not because I don’t think she can handle herself (last season’s finale for example), but because she has Henry back home. That kid is just so darn cute! What’s not cute was the family of horrors we were watching this week.

What intrigues me about “Criminal Minds” so much is how each one of these cases could be happening. It’s not a far-fetched crime. There are people who suffer from Dissociative Identity Disorder like the father in this episode. But the daughter is the real trip. I’m a younger sister so I’m really thankful right now that my sister didn’t resent me, at least not that much. But to murder your own mother and sister and trick your dad into thinking it was his fault, that’s cold-blooded.

I didn’t instantly see the daughter as the killer. I figured it out around the time JJ did. I think deep down the thought of a murderous teenage daughter was something I just didn’t want to consider. But once again, JJ made it out OK. Yay!

Reid seems to be back to his old self again, which kind of surprises me. I mean, I didn’t want to see him mopey every episode but I felt like he would be dealing with it longer. I’m sure his residual feelings over Maeve’s death will pop up again soon.

Did you catch where the murders were this week? It was the Eastern Shore. Do you think the BAU team could take a break and help solve the arsons? Those are getting a bit crazy now.
