Teen girl accused of helping to rob pizza delivery driver
Newport News, Va.–A 17-year-old girl is in juvenile detention because police say she helped rob a pizza delivery driver.
Investigators are looking to see if she’s connected to other crimes.
Late last night, a Dominos Driver was robbed after trying to deliver a pie on Rebecca Place. Two people, one with a gun, took the food and money from the driver.
The girl took off on a bike but the pizza driver followed behind in his car and lead police straight to her.
The other thief got away. This robbery comes about 4 weeks after two others, both happened in the 1100 block of Tyler Avenue.
