Update: Students return to Greenbrier Intermediate in Chesapeake after bomb threat

Chesapeake, Va. - Students were briefly evacuated at Greenbrier Intermediate School in Chesapeake Friday morning after a bomb threat.

Due to the cold weather, students and staff were transported to Greenbrier Middle School while the building was searched and returned back into the school at approximately 12:45 PM.

The incident is under investigation by the Chesapeake Fire Department.  Anyone with information regarding the threat is encouraged to call, text or submit an online tip to the Chesapeake Crime Line.
