Norfolk, Va. – Norfolk and Portsmouth police have arrested a Portsmouth man wanted for Wednesday’s shooting on Robin Hood Road near Sherwood Forest Elementary School.
Alexic Tariq Russell was arrested in the 3700 block of Elliot Avenue in Portsmouth.
Russell was charged with Malicious Wounding, Use of Firearm, Possession of Firearm by Felon and Discharging a Firearm within 1,000 feet of a school.
Russell was arrested with the collaboration of the Norfolk Police Fugitive Unit and the Portsmouth Police Fugitive Apprehension Unit.
