Pizza delivery drivers robbed at gunpoint in Newport News

Newport News, Va. - Two pizza delivery drivers have been robbed at gunpoint in Newport News.

On January 2, 2013 at 9:50 p.m., and again on January 6, 2013 at 10:30 p.m., two pizza delivery drivers from different pizza restaurants were robbed at gunpoint. 

In both incidents, police say the drivers were called to a vacant home in the 1100 block of Tyler Avenue in Newport News. 

In the January 2 incident, the driver was approached by a black female, 5'5 to 5'6 inches tall, wearing a bandana covering her face.  The woman displayed a hand gun and robbed the driver of cash, an ATM card, and the pizza, police tell NewsChannel 3.

In the January 6 incident, the driver was approached by a black female as well as a second suspect who stood back and is believed to be male.  In this robbery, cash was taken. No one was injured in either robbery.
