Victim identified in Hampton fatal shooting

According to Hampton Police, one man is dead after a shooting occurred in the 600 block of Homestead Avenue.

Police say calls came in at around 7:45 p.m. on Friday.

Crews located the victim, 24-year-old James Williams, suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper torso.

He was pronounced dead.

Police are still investigating this case.
