Norfolk, Va. - Co-workers of a murdered Norfolk mother are taking action to make sure her 5-year-old son has a good Christmas.

Associates at the Tidewater Drive Walmart in Norfolk are collecting gifts for Phylicia Robinson's son.

"We call it the Robinson Angel Tree," said Christina Parham, who said associates have purchased 60 gifts and counting for Robinson's son. "Doing this won't bring his mom back, but it will show how much people care about his mom."

Phylicia Robinson's body was found in her next door neighbor's closet late last month after the 26-year-old had been missing for nearly two months.  Jamiel Graves, her next door neighbor has been charged in her murder.

"Words can't describe [how we feel]," said Robinson's father.  "Even seeing it's still unbelievable."

"We're going through a lot, and they give us that moment to smile," he said.

If you'd like to buy a gift for the Robinson Angel Tree, ask any associate at the Tidewater Drive Walmart.

Funeral services for Robinson will be held Saturday, December 15 at 11 a.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church at 875 Baker Road.
