WASHINGTON, D.C. – The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the manufacturer, has announced a voluntary recall of about 50,000 Dream On Me bath seats.

Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product.

Officials say the bath seats fail to meet federal safety standards, including the requirements for stability. Specifically, the bath seats can tip over, posing a risk of drowning to babies.
