Woman arrested for credit card theft in Suffolk

Update:  Suffolk police say 26-year-old Kelisha Alexis Branch of Suffolk turned herself in on December 6, 2012. She was charged with Felony Credit Card Theft, Felony Credit Card Fraud, and Felony Identity Theft related to the incident which occurred on November 2, 2012.  

Suffolk, VA. – Suffolk police need your help to find a suspect wanted for alleged credit card theft and fraud.

Police say on Nov. 2, 2012, a resident accidentally left her purse at a business on Hillpoint Road. She went back to get the purse within the hour but was unable to find it.

The victim then found out that her credit card, which was inside the purse, had been used at a grocery store in the 2800 block of Godwin Blvd. within just two hours of her purse being stolen police say.

Police obtained surveillance footage from the grocery store and they say the person in the photos is the individual who used the victim’s credit card to buy over 400 dollars worth of groceries.
