Officials to discuss Amtrak coming to Norfolk

Norfolk, Va. - Friday afternoon, Norfolk officials will give an update on the new Amtrak service coming to the city.

Mayor Paul Fraim and Amtrak officials are expected to speak at the new station platform near Harbor Park around 3 p.m.

Officials say the railway will link Norfolk to places like Richmond, Washington D.C., and even New York City.

The routes are expected to start next month.
