Criminal Minds Sergeant

Rossi reconnects with his former Marine sergeant from Vietnam while a killer targets the homeless

When will people learn? You never get into cars with strangers! It doesn’t matter if they are cute, former firemen. It’s always a bad idea. That being said, the first victim did have a really good voice, in my opinion.

Side note: I noticed for the first time they added JJ kicking butt to the opening titles of “Criminal Minds.” Love it!

This week I’m adding being drowned with bleach to my list of ways I never want to die. I don’t even like the smell of it in cleaning products. I don’t know why that’s the only way the killer thought he could cleanse the homeless population. There are some sick, twisted people out there; something this show reminds me weekly.

Again, veterans took center stage in a CBS show this week. As soon as we met Rossi’s former sergeant, I knew he was in trouble. If you have a personal connection to anyone on the BAU team consider yourself a target.

The flashbacks of Rossi in Vietnam were fascinating to me. There is still so much I just don’t know about that war. The history books showed me the political side from the states. I know it was an unpopular war, I know the outcome, and I know what happened to troops when they returned. They were hated for serving their country. I never really got that mentality since they didn’t chose the war, they just chose to serve. But, I never really thought about the public relations war the military was waging. To clue you in, Rossi’s sergeant was told to take the credit for saving Rossi’s life instead of admitting another troop jumped on the bomb to contain the blast. I wonder how many true stories like that are out there. Unsung heroes who died for reasons we’ll never know.

Thank you to all the heroes who have and are still serving. Your bravery is a light in a world filled with turmoil.
