Armed robbery at Chuck E Cheese’s in Hampton

Hampton, Va. – Hampton police are searching for a man wanted for an armed robbery at a Chuck E Cheese’s Pizza Restaurant over the weekend.

Police say around 8 a.m. on Sunday, November 11, 2012, a suspect approached an employee of the Chuck E Cheese’s Pizza Restaurant, located in the first block of Town Center Way, as they entered the business.

The suspect displayed a firearm and forced the employee into the restaurant, demanding money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect ran away from the back of the restaurant. There were no additional employees or patrons in the establishment at the time of the robbery, and the victim was not injured.

The suspect is described as a black male with a medium complexion, 5’8 to 6’, between 150 to 180 lbs., and in his early twenties. He was last seen wearing a dark jacket, a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and had his face covered with a red cloth.
