Man wanted for allegedly trying to murder 3 people with pipe bombs

Virginia State Police released a picture of a suspect and issued their first “blue alert.”

They say 25-year-old Laurence Stewart tried to murder 3 people including police officers.

They say he set off a series of pipe bombs in Northern Virginia and threw them at three homes trying to kill his girlfriend, a detective, and a sheriff’s deputy.

Stewart is considered armed and dangerous.
