VDOT crews finish HRBT paving early, eastbound lanes will not close Sunday night
VDOT work crews finished paving the eastbound lanes of the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel early this morning and reopened the tunnel to traffic at 8:30 a.m.
VDOT says no additional weekend closures are necessary to complete this project, and all lanes of the HRBT eastbound tube will remain open to traffic Sunday night.
