Two soldiers killed in Afghanistan

Two Army soldiers based in North Carolina were killed in Afghanistan.

The Department of Defense announced the deaths of 27-year-old Warrant Officer Joseph Schiro and 25-year-old Staff Sergeant Justin Marquez.

Both died Saturday after being shot while on foot patrol.

The soldiers were assigned to the 3rd Special Forces Group from Fort Bragg.
