Man ejected from vehicle, dies in Chesapeake

Police have identified the driver who lost control of his vehicle and was killed early Monday morning.

It happened Monday morning, shortly after 5:30 a.m. Police say 53-year-old Wesley L. Taylor, of the 2000 block of Shillelagh Road, was driving northbound on Shillelagh Road, when his vehicle went off the roadway. He was transported to Norfolk General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The crash is currently under investigation.
