Police need your help to catch an alleged police impersonator

Portsmouth, Va.–This morning, a man flashed a badge to a 76-year-old at his house. He said that the man’s bank was going to be robbed, but he could hold onto his money for safe keeping.

The man believed the fake cop, drove to the bank, got out his money and gave it to him.

The suspect then met up with his accomplice in a gray Mercedes with North Carolina plates and took off.
