Pedestrian struck and killed in Gloucester County

Gloucester County, Va. – A pedestrian was struck and killed on Glenns Road Friday evening.

State police responded to the accident around 11:29 pm and found that Michael Anthony Franklin was standing outside of his residence awaiting a ride when he walked out in front of a 1998 Dodge Dakota that was traveling east on Glenns Road.

Mr. Franklin died at the scene.
