Men pretending to be broken down rob tow truck driver in York County

York County, Va. – Early this morning, Virginia State Police was called to an armed robbery that had occurred on Interstate 64 at mile marker 240 mm in York County.

A tow truck driver for David’s Towing stopped to assist a broken down black Honda Accord, with a New York registration, and occupied by two black men.

The men assaulted the driver and robbed him of $40 at gunpoint. The men were last seen heading westbound on I-64.
