VSP: Driver runs off road on I-264 EB, airlifted to hospital

According to Virginia State Police, there was a single-vehicle accident on I-264 EB just before the I-664 crossover/Bowers Hill on Wednesday. 

They say the driver of a 2003 Chevrolet Corvette lost control and ran off the road into the median and hit a tree.

The driver of the vehicle was airlifted to Sentara Norfolk General with life threatening injuries.
