Report: Missing NC 12-year-old girl found safe in Florida

A 12-year-old girl from North Carolina is safe and the registered sex offender she was with is in custody.

Timothy Newman and Abigale Lefevers were found in Florida on Wednesday.

The girl’s father reported her missing Tuesday morning.
