Colorado school seizes student’s rosary beads, calls them ‘gang’ symbol
Officials at a Colorado high school have reportedly confiscated rosary beads from a student, claiming the religious necklace disrupts learning and is affiliated with gangs.
According to our sister staion KDVR in Colorado, Thompson Valley High School officials in Loveland seized 16-year-old Manuel Vigil’s rosary beads twice since school started three weeks ago.
