Marines heading to Yemen to protect embassy

Marines are on their way to Yemen.

They will be there to help protect U.S. diplomatic installations in the country – including the Embassy in Sana.

The protection team is similar to the team of 50 Marines sent earlier this week to Tripoli after the attack in Benghazi. This comes after hundreds of protesters gathered outside the U.S. Embassy this morning.

The Yemeni army blocked off several streets around the building today – but the protesters still gathered.
