Hydraulic pump malfunction causes HRT bus fire

An HRT bus caught fire on Sunday.

Officials say it happened just before noon on Kempsville Road.

No one was hurt. 

There was just a short delay. Another bus came in to get passengers where they needed to go.

Officials say a malfunction with the bus’s hydraulic pump caused the fire.
