Chesapeake police cruiser involved in accident during pursuit

According to Chesapeake police,  an officer attempted to initiate a traffic stop on a vehicle heading NB on I-464.

Police say the vehicle refused to stop and continued heading towards Norfolk. A second unit assisting in the pursuit was involved in a single vehicle crash during the pursuit.

The vehicle was damaged, but no injuries were reported.

 

The police were unable to locate the suspect vehicle after it entered Norfolk.
