Military helicopter makes emergency landing in Hanover County
According to WTVR, A military helicopter had to make an emergency landing Thursday afternoon in Hanover County.
They say it landed in a cornfield, according to Hanover Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Chris Whitley.
Whitley said he believed the helicopter suffered some sort of mechanical failure.
He says crews received the call around 12:25 p.m. No injuries were reported.
The military is investigating.
