Update: Body found floating in Chesapeake lake identified

Chesapeake police say they found a man’s body floating in a lake on August 30th. 

The victim has now been identified as Lamont Williams, 22, of Norfolk. 

It happened a little before 5 p.m. in the 1200 block of Quarter Path Trail.

The incident is being investigated as a drowning. There does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident according to police.
