Tractor trailer accident on I-64 involving multiple vehicles

10:21 a.m. According to VDOT officials, a tractor trailer accident has been reported on I-64. Multiple vehicles are involved.

Emergency officials were notified at 10:02 a.m. 

It happened on I-64 Eastbound past Northampton Boulevard.

The crash is now clear –  all lanes are open, but traffic is still backed up to Tidewater Drive.
